The confrontation between SYRIZA government for the costing of the proposals submitted by the main opposition party is holding well.

The Minister of Finance, Kostis Hatzidakis responded with his statement to the negative reaction of SYRIZA to the invitation he addressed to Stefanos Kasselakis, stressing that in the debate that would take place “the extent of SYRIZA’s populism and lies would be demonstrated”.

The statement of the Ministry of Finance in more detail:

“Initially I thought that “an oven was broken” and SYRIZA had agreed to discuss the financial cost of Kasselaki’s proposals in the Finance Committee of the Parliament with data and the presence of his representatives General Accounting Office of the State . They thought it over, realized what was going on, and went back to the safety of political fairy tales.

Because in this debate the magnitude of SYRIZA’s populism and lies would be demonstrated. It would prove that SYRIZA’s proposals for the were not costed and if there was ever any chance of them being implemented in the economy they were driving the economy to the rocks. That is, in new surveillance and memoranda.

The debate in the Parliament would be the moment of truth, but where the truth exists, SYRIZA puts it to rest.”
