“It is an institutional and mandatory procedure, self-evident for democratic parties, such as SYRIZA-PS” clarify the SYRIZA MPs
They demand the re-convening of the SYRIZA Parliamentary Group, so that the MPs can take the floor as well, in a letter to the president of the Parliamentary Group, Socrates Famello, the deputies Giorgos Karameros, Symeon Kedikoglou and Charalambos Mamoulakis.
In their letter they clarify what this process is “institutional and imposed, self-evident for democratic parties, such as SYRIZA-PS”.
In detail, the letter of Kedikoglou-Karameros-Mamoulakis is as follows:
“To:
President K.O. SYRIZA-PS
Sharing:
Secretary K.O. SYRIZA-PS
Honorable President, dear Socrates,
As is known, the convened Parliamentary Group (K.O.) for the evaluation of the election result was interrupted after the intervention of the President St. Kasselakis, due to his obligations. So, we come back with the reasonable request to reconvene the K.O., with the same subject, so that the MPs, at an appropriate time distance from the European elections, can express their views on the election result with vigor. We believe that this will help to better prepare for future challenges and the positive outcome we desire. It is, after all, an institutional and imposed procedure, self-evident for democratic parties, such as SYRIZA-PS.
