The Syros General Hospital the President of PASOK-Movement for Change visited, Nikos Androulakisand met with the medical and nursing staff.
Mr. Androulakis was informed about the problems arising due to the understaffing of the hospital, which covers the health needs not only of Syros but also of the majority of the islands of the Cyclades, where during the summer months, the population grows exponentially.

Mr. Androulakis presented the 9-point plan, which exists in the Movement’s program, for the restructuring of the NHS and which emphasizes the coverage of all gaps, strong primary health care, the motivation of doctors and nurses to address the gaps in health structures in the region, the change of the Health Charter and the inclusion of health personnel in the heavy and unhealthy.
