The President of PASOK-Movement for Change, Nikos Androulakis, had a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Gerapetritis, on Monday morning, as part of the briefing of the parliamentary parties.

Immediately after, Mr. Androulakis stated, among other things:

“At a critical moment with the unpredictable developments in the United States of America, major challenges for the European Union and the ongoing massacre against the Palestinian people in Gaza, we had the opportunity to have a thorough discussion with the Foreign Minister on the issues concerning our country but also international developments.

We are fifty years after the Cyprus tragedy and we must all contribute to the resumption of the dialogue based on the resolutions of the United Nations Organization. This is the position of our faction and we believe that the European Union should have an active participation at the dialogue table.

As soon as possible, we should try to talk again. Under no circumstances should we allow Erdogan’s agenda to divide the island.”

The President of PASOK-Movement for Change was accompanied by the responsible K.T.E. of Foreign Affairs, Dimitris Manzos.
