“What is ‘too much’ for the Prime Minister?” asks the president of SYRIZA
“On the day that unites the Greeks, the day of Panagia, the mother to whom the weak turn for help, the prime minister for one of the most divisive and provocative statements of his tenure: “The few who were affected…”, says o Stefanos Kasselakis in a post on social media.
The president of SYRIZA-PS comments: “100+ burned houses, 100,000+ burned acres, 40 kilometers of destruction. What is “a lot” for the prime minister, if this is “a little”? And in Tempi “a few”. And in Evia “a few”. And in Evros, and in Attica again… And the most burnt acres in the history of the country over of his days again “few””.
He adds that “the prime minister, even on the day of the celebration of the Virgin Mary, exploits everything, failing to understand the self-evident: that the images of destruction in an unfortified capital are not a matter of the few or the many. It is a wound for the entire Greek people, who can no longer feel safe even at home.”
