The letter of resignation of Othonas Iliopoulos from the position of State Deputy of SYRIZA-PS was announced at the plenary session of the Parliament.

Mr. Iliopoulos’ seat will be taken by Popi Tsapanidou as the first runner-up of the State ballot, as she announced yesterday in her statement.

Mrs. Tsapanidou’s swearing-in is expected to take place the day after tomorrow, Friday, the 30th of the month.

At the same time, a letter was announced from the secretary of the SYRIZA parliamentary group, Theodora Tzakri, to the president of the body, Konstantinos Tassoulas, with which she informs that yesterday, the SYRIZA-PS Committee of the People’s Party elected Nikos Pappas as the president of the parliamentary group, the same as its secretary and Athanasios Moraitis as director of the parliamentary group.

Also, as parliamentary representatives Giorgos Gavrilos, Nina Kasimatis, and Yiannis Sarakiotis.

Finally, the letter of the president of the PASOK-Movement of Change parliamentary group, Nikos Androulakis, was announced, in which he requests a pre-scheduled discussion on the devastating fires that hit Attica.
