The thermometer in the Plenary Hall between Zois Konstantopoulou and Dimitris Markopoulou on the occasion of the scathing comment of the president of Plefsis Eleftheria about “lads” within the New Democracy parliamentary group, referring to the majority MPs who testified question to Kostis Hatzidakis about bad loans.

“They are voted by the Greek people”, replied Dimitris Markopoulos in a strong tone and, reversing the arrows, he spoke of “appointed” MPs of the Freedom Movement. Zoe Konstantopoulou described D. Markopoulos as “a person for dirty work”, accusing him of behaving like a “slug”. Her MP New Republiccomplained that she was being bullied by her president Sailingwith the vice-president of the Parliament, Yiannis Plakiotakis attempting to act as fire brigade, calling them to stop and asking for the characterizations to be deleted from the minutes.

The following dialogue is indicative of the tension that prevailed:

ZOI KONSTANTOPOULOU: Because I’m not like the 11 lads…

DIMITRIS MARKOPOULOS: They are voted by the Greek people. You have appointed your whole company.

ZOI KONSTANTOPOULOU: Who are you talking to like that?

ZOI KONSTANTOPOULOU: Go on, the entire Greek Parliament has made you proud to congratulate the “Gourlid” committee of Tembo.
