The penultimate day of the intra-party election dispute, with the aim of electing the next leader of PASOK, is coming to an end, paving the way for the final showdown in tomorrow’s second-round elections on Sunday.

The two candidate leaders Nikos Androulakis and Haris Doukas in the last hours of their pre-election campaign sent messages to their voters either through speeches, or through posts and pre-election spots.

Instructions for voters

The polls will open in the morning at 7 and voting will last until 7 in the afternoon. Only those who voted in the first round on October 6, 2024 have the right to vote. For their identification, it is necessary to show a police ID or passport/driver’s license of a new type to the electoral committee. Their search will be made from the voter register and not from the national electoral roll, as was done in the first round. Therefore, AMKA is not required for 16-year-old voters and foreigners.

In order to vote, those directly interested do not need to pay a fee, while they can go to any polling station they wish, in any region of the country – that is, they can vote in a different polling station section from last time.

The pre-election spot of Nikos Androulakis and Haris Doukas

Together we will win the next national elections“, says Nikos Androulakis, PASOK leadership candidate, in the pre-election video he posted on social media.

In detail what Nikos Androulakis said in the video:

A few hours left before the polls open. Tomorrow, therefore, we conclude an exemplary political process, and for that all my fellow candidates deserve congratulations. The best is now ahead of us. Society looks up to us and has high expectations. I am committed to making use of this dynamic, unitedly, dynamically and with a serious and reliable programmatic reason, which will give hope to every Greek woman and every Greek man. Without easy promises and opportunistic moves, but with reliability and clear and serious conversations. A strong opposition with a daily dynamic presence in society, but also in Parliament. This is our path to the total restoration of the Democratic Party. Tomorrow we renew our relationship of trust. We all continue together. All together united we will win in the next national electionss”.
