Against SYRIZA – Kasselakis response to Koumoundourou’s announcement that the decision to exclude him from the presidential election process is irreversible
The office of Stefanos Kasselakis speaks of “Stalinist announcements exposing the party”, responding to announcement of SYRIZA-PS in which he characterizes the decision of the KE to exclude St. Kasselakis from the elections “irrevocable”.
“After today post by Stefanos Kasselakis clarifying that “he is here” and that he will claim from the Congress the annulment of the baseless decisions of the KE, some – under a state of panic – hastened to alter even this decision of Saturday that they themselves took”, underlines the Kasselakis side and adds:
“With today’s announcement, his Press Office SYRIZA speaks of an allegedly “irrevocable” decision regarding the exclusion of Mr. Kasselakis’ candidacy. Let us remind you that article 20 of the Statute is clear and cannot be disputed. The Congress has every authority, as the highest body, to reject or ratify all decisions of the Central Committeein accordance with article 20 par. 1 and 2 of the Statute”, emphasizes the office of Mr. Kasselakis and concludes:
“Let’s hope that the Stalinist announcements that expose the party to its members do not become the grim normality that some are looking for.”
Earlier, SYRIZA issued a statement stating that the decision of the Central Committee to exclude Stefanos Kasselakis from the race for the presidency of the party is “immediately applicable and irreversible”.
There was a previous post Kasselakisin which citizens were invited to register on the lists by October 24, in order to be able to vote for congressmen.
“Let’s fill SYRIZA with thousands #I’m_here” he says characteristically.
