Milena Apostolaki sent her own message about the elections to PASOK, who, after congratulating Nikos Androulakis and the other candidates, stated, among other things, that PASOK has escaped the gravitational field of marginalization, is now an “important” party, while in another point he emphasized “We now have a big bet in front of us. To prove that PASOK can make the leap that will make it a governing force again, after years.”

In detail, Ms. Apostolaki’s statement:

“Congratulations to Nikos Androulakis for his clear victory, as well as to all the candidates for their race.

The large participation of citizens in the PASOK polls these two Sundays, against the tide of the political crisis, against its moral discredit which is exacerbated by the refusal of the Government to assume its responsibilities when they arise with the naked eye, sends a resounding message .

PASOK has escaped the gravitational field of marginalization, it is now an “important” party, what the Anglo-Saxons call a relevant party, that is, it weighs on our party system. And with him, the weak citizen will come out of marginalization and insecurity.

It has moral weight and values that allow it to become attractive again to wider social strata from the fringes of the Left to the Center-Right – hence it shows the highest threshold of electoral influence, as the percentage of citizens who do not exclude it from their potential electoral options moves to 47-48%.

We now have before us a great bet. To prove that PASOK can make the leap that will make it a governing force again, after years.

PASOK gave birth again to a modern, authentic movement of the 21st century and this movement in turn gives birth again to a great faction.
An inclusive faction in which the wage earner, the farmer, the young scientist, our weak fellow citizen of the elderly are represented.

This is the message we got. To respond to the possibilities offered to us by our people, to rise to the occasion, to listen to their anxieties and expectations.”
