In the presence of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the former Prime Ministers Costas Karamanlis and Antonis Samaras, of the former President of the Republic Prokopi Pavlopoulos, ministers, parliamentarians and executives of the ND, the opening of the work of the International Scientific Conference organized by the “Konstantinos G. Karamanlis” Foundation took place with the theme: “1974 – 2024. 50 years since the transition to Democracy – Democracy in our time”.
The opening of the work was announced by the former Prime Minister of Italy, Mario Modi, at the Foundation’s headquarters in Filothei.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis entered the room accompanied by the government representative Pavlos Marinakis while followed by Mario Monti who is also the main speaker of the event. Mitsotakis, although smiling, exchanged brief and formal handshakes with the two former prime ministers.

Afterwards, Kyriakos Mitsotakis also greeted Antonis Samaras with a short handshake.
