There are two completely different perspectives on the result which shows that many things are not right in the party – Split is a matter of time and everyone knows it

In the student elections there were always two winners. In the parliamentary parties and in fact in the force that holds the institutional position of the official opposition ever. The first was “broken” by SYRIZA that from Saturday night the new majority and the Kasselaki side give their own results. No one loses and both win comfortably. One thing is now certain: based on these facts the conference that starts on Friday has already caught fire.
The two “camps” have published results per Member Organization which in many cases disagree with each other. Did they only choose the ones they precede in most cases? The confusion that has been caused is great. For example, in Megara, both claimed that they were ahead with 5-2. A’ Thessaloniki is 97-87 in favor of “87” or 114-93 in favor of the former president of SYRIZA? Someone counts, wrongly, someone does not count completely, or someone gives incorrect data. The war of leaks was ongoing until late last night when the latest information was released from each side.
The “87” claimed that they are ahead in, among others: Kefalonia 11-5, Achaia 91-49, Aetoloakarnania 46-18, Evia 21-6, Grevena 9-4, Arta 35-12, B’ Thessaloniki 41-16, Serres 23-8, Thesprotia 15-9, Imathia 26-11, Preveza 21-9, Chania 36-22, Larissa 47-22 etc.
From his side Stefanou Kasselakis gave the following results: Patision 28, Pagrati 18 – 3, Magnesia 26-26, North Dodecanese 14-3, Athens A 172 – 60, West Athens 142 – 61, East Attica 114 – 63 etc.
THE Stefanos Kasselakis already, however, he is celebrating the results and with his post he thanked the thousands of members who came to the polls and as he said “today you took the first big step for the return of Democracy to SYRIZA”, he even added that “unfortunately for months a small group has decides to delete this word from its vocabulary. Today, they should accept the result – which is signed and checked by every OM and Prefect – and we go smoothly to the conference. Instead they chose to produce fake results. A well-known anonymous account in “X”, which supports Stefanos Kasselakis, in a chart he published claimed after midnight that Stefanos Kasselakis has 1795 delegates and “87” 1304.
The majority side, with the data they had, estimated that the victory in their favor would be 65% against the other side’s 35% and that Stefanos Kasselakis’ unrealistic percentages would be seen at the conference.
Early in the evening the official leaks of the two camps reported: The Kasselakis side was talking about 1,009 supporting the former president and 536 someone else. 671 – 331 in favor of the majority I gave “87” that is 67% and it was added: “Stefanos Kasselakis tonight admitted his defeat triumphing over it. At the same time he is building his argumentation for challenging the outcome of the conference which will be overwhelming against him. Good luck to him and his “business friendly” party.”
There are two completely different perspectives on the result of the vote which shows that many things are not right in the party. The split is a matter of time and everyone knows it by now. With these data, but also from the fact that cases of allegations of violation of voting rules may come under the “microscope” of Koumoundourou, the week that starts today for SYRIZA will be not only particularly toxic but also critical.
