One MP is enough for the “31-31” tie that currently exists with PASOK in the “first half” of the split to be overturned

In SYRIZA, they are determined to give the last battle, so as not to lose the institutional position of the official opposition.
Things will not be easy, as the situation is borderline. One MP is enough for the “31-31” tie that currently exists with PASOK in the “first half” of the split to be overturned.
It is recalled that Petros Pappas, Alexandros Avlonitis, Rallia Christidou and Kyriaki Malama are with the “voula” a thing of the past for the party and are already moving to the mountainous seats of the Parliament.
What is certain is that in the first phase in Koumoundourou they do not intend to leave Stefanos Kasselakis in the dark regarding his position. The first shot was fired by Pavlos Polakis from the stage of the conference, stating that he may not be in Greece in the next period. It was a clear message to MPs who are thinking of leaving, wanting to show them that such a move can lead them to the “void”. And yesterday’s announcement by Koumoundourou, after all, showed the path they will follow in SYRIZA: “for the unrelenting and unanswered questions regarding the wherewithal and offsors it is clear that it must be checked by the competent authorities”.
Kasselakis
Stefanos Kasselakis will also follow the legal path, as he announced: “I immediately appeal to the Court against the slanderers and slanderers, who falsify and distort – worse than the ND – the ORIGINAL statement about me, which (I repeat that) is TRUE and CRYSTALLINE. Those who in the relevant committee of the Parliament “covered up” the whereabouts of Kyriakos Mitsotakis, want to become judges for a man who has not earned a single euro or a single dollar illegally”.
The two sides are moving on a “tight rope” and now have different goals. SYRIZA should remain in the position of official opposition and the new president of the party should enter with the “right” in his opposition work after the elections. Theodora Tzakri on Saturday with her statement hinted that she is moving towards independence.
The president of the parliamentary group, Nikos Pappas, will have a lot of work in the next period, as apart from the Theodora Tzakri the Yannis Sarakiotis, George Gavrilos and Iota Poulos starting today a “white strike” by no longer participating in the presidium of the parliamentary group. Separate cases are Evangelos Apostolakis and Elena Akrita who have been elected through the State ballot, while Nina Kasimati and the Rania Thraskia they also haven’t opened their papers. For Stefanos Kasselakis, the priority now is the formation of his party and the creation of a strong group within the Parliament so that he can communicate his positions. The time distance until the elections is long and this is well known in his staff.
The only “defense” that SYRIZA has at the moment, in order to be able to restrain its forces a little, is the reinstatement of Athena Linou in the parliamentary group. The “cohabitation”, however, with Pavlos Polakis is not easy since the Epidemiology professor is preparing many new answers for the Prolepsis Institute that she directs in relation to the complaints she has received from the Chanio MP. As SKAI reported on Saturday’s main news bulletin, she has not decided what she will do.
