The resignation of his duties in his parliamentary group SYRIZA Giorgos Gavrilos announced a while ago with his statement in the peristyle of the Parliament, remaining for the time being the MP of Koumoundourou.
“I met the president of KO and informed him of my intention not to continue exercising my duties from the position of responsibility assigned to me, expressing my displeasure at the mistake made in the last 2 months in the party” said the MP, leaving spikes for the “87” camp.
Answering the question of the parliamentary editors if he will hand over the seat to the party in case it becomes independent, he replied that “the deputy is elected with a party. When this changes, he has to keep the seat”.
However, apart from Giorgos Gavrilos, during the day it is expected that the Theodora Tzakri from the position of Secretary in the KO, Yannis Sarakiotis from the position of Parliamentary Representative and Iota Poulos from the position of the coordinator of the party’s parliamentary work, remaining for the time being in SYRIZA.
