The Deputy Minister of Digital Governance, Konstantinos Kyranakis, emphasized that “at the end of 2025 we will be able to say that the Land Registry is 100% ready”
On the occasion of the cases of fraud and forgery on 3 Saronic islands that were recently detected in the Land Registry, the Deputy Minister of Digital Governance, Konstantinos Kyranakis revealed today to SKAI and the show “Kalimera” that other cases are being investigated which are in Lefkada, in Halkidiki and the Dodecanese.
“After the intervention we made, other complaints have come in. The people who do not go to declare, leave such gaps” said the deputy minister.
In fact, as he clarified, “a certain person has declared several properties in Lefkada using the same method: use and modified statements of E9. We are investigating everything and where necessary we will go to the Prosecutor”.
For the Land Registry
“It marks the end of an era, with open statements and open procedures. And extensions of decades, which have ranked us last in all of Europe, as the only country that still does not have a Land Registry” said the Konstantinos Kyranakis.
“The deadline was met for almost the entire country. At the end of 2025 we will be able to say that the Land Registry is 100% ready. Last year, land registration was at 39%, now we are at 53%. At the end of January, with the areas whose deadline expired last night, we will exceed 70% and by December 2025 we will go to 100%,” he added.
