“Never again fascism, never again war”, is the message sent by the president of SYRIZA-PS, Sokratis Famellos at the memorial events for the Kalavryta Holocaust, where he laid a wreath at the Place of Execution.

In detail, in his statements, Mr. Famous said:

“The Holocaust of Kalavryta is an indelible trauma in the collective memory of our country. Today we paid tribute to the heroes who gave their lives in the resistance, for the freedom of the country, but also to the victims of Nazi atrocities.

It reminds us of their sacrifice, the need for the struggle for freedom, democracy and above all for peace to be permanent. And our offering should be more important these days, when the goods of peace and life are being questioned even close to our country. And that the decisions of the global bodies take on value and substance, just as the demands for justice with German reparations, compensations and the occupying loan should take on substance.

Above all, however, the choice of life must take substance: Never again fascism. Never again war. Immortals.”
