Ms. Bakoyannis insisted that there is no concealment in the Tempe tragedy and stressed that the committees in Greece are not working
“What is the gain of the government from a concealment?” was asked ND MP Dora Bakoyannis On the occasion of the new videos released on the accident in Tempe, invited to the SKAI morning show, “Today”.
Ms Bakoyannis insisted that there was no concealment since she said there is no government’s legal interest in this.
“I do not accept the concealment because it does not exist. It is inconceivable to conceal something that has 57 souls, it is not human, we are not monsters, but beyond that it would be stupid, ”he said.
About the Tempi Inquiry Committee Ms Bakoyannis argued that “Inquiry Committees do not operate in Greece because the parties are entering the examination from the beginning, having predetermined the culprits and others having predetermined innocence and support.”
“We have two parties that are killed each other who will first partition this problem,” he said, adding that:
“We have an obligation to the Greek people to prove that there is no concealment and that we are determined to protect this train function.”
Regarding the possibility of a reshuffle, Ms. Bakoyannis said that “the issue is the political initiatives” which and as he said would be taken by Mr Mitsotakis.
“Mitsotakis knows that he owes the Greek people to make it clear that justice will decide and the prestige of justice is not disputed every time we do not like or like a decision.”
“The truth will come out. There is no case and whatever it is, the government will not only accept it but will also take its lesson, what it needs to correct to make the trains safer. ”
