Special arrangement, which puts the Prime Minister’s announcement from Evros in October to reinforce up to 10,000 euros in those families who settle permanently in the municipalities of Soufli, Oresteiada and Didymoteichos, was submitted to Parliament by the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Sofia Zacharakis. A bill passed today in plenary.

The arrangement for Evros is part of the overall plan for demographic reinforcement, development and reconstruction of the county. It concerns the installation costs cover program in Central and Northern Evros, totaling budget of EUR 8 million, according to which up to 10,000 euros, households, which will transport their main residence and settle in the municipalities of Soufli, Orestiada and Didymoteicho.

Specifically, the proposed arrangement establishes: Demographic Development Program to strengthen the Municipalities of Soufli, Didymoteicho and Orestiada (Municipalities of Melow) of the Evros Regional Unity, the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, providing financial support to monopoly The main residence and the Center for Biotic Activities from Municipalities of the Territory (Municipalities of Origin) designated by a joint decision of the Ministers of National Economy and Economics, Interior, Development, Labor and Social Security, Social Cohesion and Family and Digital Governance.

Financial support is defined in:

  • 10,000 eurosif the beneficiary unit is settled in a settlement with a population of up to 500 inhabitants according to the latest census and
  • 6,000 euros Since the beneficiary unit is settled in a settlement with a population of over 500, according to the latest census, respectively by EUR 1,000 for each minor member of the household and up to EUR 10,000.

Financial support is paid to beneficiaries to two equal doses. The first installment is paid with the approval of the application and the second installment after the first year of permanent stay in the municipalities of relocation.

The arrangement is voted on tonight in the House, in the context of the Ykissos bill that provides, inter alia, the mandatory participation of a specific percentage of women in the BoDs of listed companies, the implementation of a pilot subsidy program of accessibility in homes and workplaces, the safeguarding of its program, Personal assistant, the introduction of the Athena program for the Nursery, Nurseries as well as the implementation of the prepaid card for the beneficiaries of 50% of OPECA and DBA benefits.
