Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, a post on Facebook, referred to the Pilot Police Police Program in West Athens, and stressed that “upgrading public transport is a non -negotiable priority for our government”.

He noted that “this upgrade is not just about renewing our bus fleet, which is moving smoothly, and increasing the frequency of routes” but “its main pillar is the safety of the citizens”.

He added that yesterday the pilot program of public transportation of western Athens has begun where 130 police officers, either uniforms or political clothing, are on the suburban and buses of western Athens.

“With the completion of the pilot program, this policy will be implemented throughout the Attica network with a special body of the Greek Police. We have the debt to provide our fellow citizens of modern and safe public transport. Step step in this direction, ”said Mitsotakis.
