Christos Triantopoulos released the famous e-mail of March 9, 2023, in which according to a report in the newspaper “Estia” the then Deputy Minister of the Prime Minister reveals his coordinating role in the “blink” of the railway.

In a post on social media, Mr. Triantopoulos reveals that the email concerned “the financing of expenditure (a) to support relatives; Opinion – Meeting that took place on March 6, 2023 at its headquarters in Larissa. “

At the same time, in his post he speaks of a “miserable distortion” of the newspaper and stresses that “unfortunately, opposition parties have” discovered “today a timeless obligation of all governments: to finance either regular or extraordinary obligations of local government”.

In detail his post

“The reason I make today’s post – though I don’t get used to it – is not to respond to the unobtrusive objections of the opposition, but to prevent another giant lie, which will be summed up in the preceding opposition parties.

This is, after all, the only goal of the opposition parties: on the national tragedy of Tempi, whether they create or reproduce fake news, and often present half the truth, misrepresenting data to obtain micro -political benefits. The opposition is attempted by the opposition to create new impressions to enhance the version of the supposed “concealment”.

So I give publicity the “infamous” email of March 9, 2023, the content of which was presented by the ESTIA newspaper.

As you can see initially in the “subject” of the message, the title was “Covering Costs of Support and Rehabilitation after the Tempe’s accident”. The message was addressed by the then Regional Governor of Thessaly, with notification to the rest.

This e -mail was referred to in the financing of expenditure (a) to support relatives; Larissa.

Each benevolent finds alone that neither the title nor the information content of the e -message contains the slightest order, nor of course any “coordinating role” on my part.

Unfortunately, opposition parties have today discovered a timeless obligation of all governments: to finance either regular or extraordinary obligations of local government.

After all, I inform you that corresponding communications aimed at covering municipal and regions’ obligations, I have been carrying out on a daily basis and answering the requests or questions of local government organizations or to cover them by the relevant financial tools if they were natural disaster, either for any natural disaster. As in that email.

The truth cannot be distorted with cheap small -party toys and this will be completely revealed during the preliminary examination committee.

PS. Respecting the personal data of the recipient of the email and those who received the notification, I asked and received their consent. “

It is recalled that yesterday, government sources referred to “a deeply misleading publication” which “is part of a broader attempt to deteriorate reality and disorientation of public opinion”. They even said that it was a formal information, purely economic content, that concerned exclusively covering expenditure to support victims’ relatives and resources in the Region of Thessaly, in accordance with state obligations, as is the case after any accident or destruction, when it is called to the Central State.

At the same time, at yesterday’s House meeting broke out against the issue. Specifically, the Minister of State, Akis Skertsos and SYRIZA President Socrates Famellos, came to the contraction, and later the former minister and current MP with the new left, Euclid Tsakalotos, also participated in the counter.

This issue was also mentioned by PASOK President Nikos Androulakis, who asked the government to release the email.

“Think about what will happen if you do not present the controversial email. No, with us, with the hundreds of thousands who took to the streets and squares. It will be another example of contempt and unreliability. ‘You have 24 hours to think about whether it is worth continuing the game of mockery against such a tragedy, “Nikos Androulakis said yesterday.
