Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met today with the President of the European Court of Auditors, Tony Murphy today.

During the meeting, the resources that have been drawn to date was reviewed by the Recovery fund and Durability and it was noted that Greece is one of the EU countries that have effectively utilized the grants and loans where they arewhile putting effective safety valves to avoid failures.

Also exchanged views for the next seven -year budget of the European Union, given the important investment needs of the European economy, changes in the geopolitical environment and the need to increase European defense spending.

The importance of the work of the European Court of Auditors was also emphasized not only for the proper disposal of European resources but also for the configuration in the design of EU funding programs.
