Kyriakos Velopoulos requested the intervention of the Speaker of the House, but according to information, PASOK, SYRIZA and Freedom Cruise representatives

A new round of controversy over the future of the pre -trial committee – this time at the Conference of Presidents – caused a letter from Kyriakos Velopoulos to the Speaker of the House, calling for his intervention in order to ensure the completed operation of the Commission.
“Neither did he have little nor told me to open the door and get in and stop them,” Mr Kaklamanis said, speaking to parliamentary authors, and reportedly the intervention of the Speaker of the House was also asked by PASOK, SYRIZA and SYRIZA. He reportedly replied that any intervention in the operation of the pre -trial – with the role and responsibilities it has – would constitute a reason for its cancellation.
Indeed, Mr Kaklamanis, citing the House Regulation, argued – reportedly – that the Speaker of the House must chair (at the first meeting), to elect a bureau and then “give them his wish, to close the door and not open again”.
At the same time, sources from the SYRIZA CO say that at the Conference of Presidents, on Thursday afternoon, SYRIZA – Progressive Alliance, through the Secretary of the KO. Dionysis Kalamatianou, urgently requested the initiative to take initiative by the Speaker of the House in order to comply with the Constitution, the Rules of Procedure and the laws, which are brutally circumvented under the responsibility of the majority of the ND in the pre -trial committee.
The pre -trial committee must do its work normally in order to have a reasoned report. And therefore, of Mr Triantopoulos’ deposition, the examination of witnesses, documents, as well as all files, as provided by the pre -trial proceedings, must be preceded. But also to investigate the commitment of any other offense.
All Members, first and foremost, the Speaker of Parliament, must infection in practice the legality and the Constitution.
In any case, the next step after tomorrow’s meeting – where the memorandum will be discussed by Mr Triantopoulos – will be the conclusion of a finding, which in turn will take the road to plenary to vote.
