A visit to the Student Boarding of the Apostolic Ministry of the Church of Greece in Agia Varvara, along with the Archbishop of Athens Hieronymus, was held by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
Arriving at the site, Mr. Mitsotakis talked to the young people, about 70 in number from 16 countries, and praised the role of boarding school. Both the prime minister and Archbishop Hieronymos pledged to take initiatives to support the boarding school and the creation of other corresponding structures.
According to the Apostolic Ministry despite the problems he faced over the years, “the theological boarding school continued its operation and contribution to the Church. Dozens of bishops and university professors, hundreds of Archimandrites, Elders and Popular Theologians are included in the list of habitats. Another hundreds of our homosexual and heterodox brothers, who today hold large positions in the Church and State of their homeland have lived and studied theological letters at the boarding school. “
