In favor of the goals to tackle the phenomenon of climate crisis in the EU, Greece is in favor, as summarized by the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Stavros Papastavrou at the informal meeting of the 27 European Union Environment Ministers, which was completed in Aalborg, Dania, in Dania.

“The reason this energy transition has achieved is because we have supported and actively supporting the areas affected to maintain social cohesion. We must do the same by 2040: to set an ambitious goal, but realistic, that can be achieved and will not let countries or parts of society stay behind, while not burdening the competitiveness of industry. That is, it should be implemented in terms of pragmatism and welfare for social cohesion, “he concluded.
