The meaning of today’s celebration was mentioned by Paros, the President of the Republic Constantine A. Tasoulas. The President’s message, however, could not miss his reference but also his thanks to everyone and all those who made superhuman effort, as he pointed out, in the battle against the fiery fronts of recent days.

In detail, the President of the Republic attended Doxology at the Church of Our Lady of the Hundreds of Ekatontapyliani, Paros. After the end of the Divine Liturgy of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary, Mr. Tasoulas made the following statement:

“Today here in Paros, in the heart of the Aegean Sea, in one of the oldest and most sacred places of Orthodoxy, in Panagia the Ekatontapyliani, in the Cyclades whole, all over Greece, but also where Earth, Hellenism celebrates and honors the Little Easter, Our nation, a uniquely valuable refuge.

Everyone and everyone feel deeply, as consolation, encouragement and support in their lives, while as a supporter of a general, he unites and leads our nation to his struggles over time, for freedom and prosperity. This is how we see her, and so we feel that she sees us, with the sweetness of her eyes, a supporter, in every individual, family or collective effort.

Subsequently, the President of the Republic visited the rocket “CRYSTALLIDIS”, which, as part of the festivities, is docked at the port of Parikia. Mr. Tasoulas wished the officers and crew many years with health, family and personal happiness. For his part, Commander Charalambos Daglis gave the president the ship’s shield.
