As yesterday at the Municipal Council, so today by posting, the Kostas Bakoyannis he speaks of Harry Duke’s “Colotuba” around the subject of works in Queen Olga and accuses the mayor of Athens of “populism and unreliability”.
Specifically, the former mayor wrote on his facebook account:
“When populism meets unreliability. From the depreciation of adoption – the Kolotuba of Vas. Olga.
Mr Doukas, in the last two years, on the issue of Queen Olga, has changed position countless times. His public appearance was accompanied by a different version: from the complete depreciation of the work, the irony and the apostasy, to his final acceptance.
Because he finally ended up today – in a crescendo of misinformation and offensive commentary that does not fit his office – to adopt the work, making an impressive ass.
But what remains stable over time is populism, propaganda and ultimately its unreliability.
If he had shown the same zeal for Athens as for cheap communication, things might have been better for the city.
But let’s keep the positive: a work that was fought and sabotaged by the current mayor will soon be attributed, as designed, to the Athenian citizens and visitors to the city.
False words are lost, but the works are left. “
