The biggest classes you have loved this school, you remembered it in the situation it was. It was the situation, my dear Mayor, Mrs. Manager, which I also saw, when I was with you a few months ago, to announce a truly very ambitious school reconstruction program throughout the country.
It is the program “Marietta Giannakou”. For our younger friends, Marietta Giannakou was a Minister of Education, passed away recently, but identified her political presence with her love for public education.
Today, we welcome students, teachers, parents, to a school that has been fully rebuilt: new toilets, new classes, new paints, insulation, doors, windows, windows, and more reconstructed stadiums
As in school, the 8th New Philadelphia and Nea Chalkidona Primary School, the bell will ring in another 430 schools across the country, where major interventions were made.
