The former Minister and MP of Heraklion, Lefteris Avgenakisin his public statement, he called him Evangelos to present evidence of the allegations he made against him, during today’s deposit of his Inquiry Committee her Parliament on the subject of OPECEPE.

According to Mr. Avgenakis, Mr. Simandrakos did not provide evidence or evidence of his complaints. He stresses that, despite repeated questions from the members of the Commission, Mr Simandrakos has avoided giving clear answers, choosing, as he says, the tactics of evasion.

Lefteris Avgenakis calls for specific clarifications on when and how pressed on his part to release thousands tilted VATas well as whether there are relevant evidence or messages. At the same time, he wonders why, if there were illegal VAT IDs, they were not promoted to justice, leaving, as he notes, legal beneficiaries of hostage farmers.

In addition, Mr. Avgenakis points out that Mr. Simandrakos did not clear the difference between the ‘Binded VAT’ and their ‘Non -eligible beneficiaries’as mentioned in a letter in October 2023.

Finally, the former minister emphasizes that, if the required information is not provided immediately, he reserves the reservation of any legal right.
