Citizens’ opinions are divided on his subject Unknown Soldier and the relevant amendment voted in the Parliament by the government, according to the Pulse poll, which was presented in the main SKAI news bulletin, by Sia Kosionis.
OR poll was conducted between October 17-20, in a sample of 1,112 citizens with the right to vote.
OR New Republic remains first in voting intention, with a difference of 15.5 points from PASOKwhile o SYRIZA appears in 6th place in the citizens’ preferences.
The big “thorn”, as reflected in yet another poll, for the citizens, is the accuracywhich decisively affects 84% of respondents.
Regarding the “under construction” parties of the two former prime ministers, Alexis Tsipras and Antonis Samarasthe Pulse poll gives relatively similar approval numbers, however, showing their percentage of influence across the party spectrum.
Voting intention: ND at 29%, 15.5 points difference from PASOK
Traditionally, the biggest debates that emerge from opinion polls are about voting intention. New Democracy maintains a large lead over the opposition parties, with low, however, percentages for self-reliance.
The governing party is at 29%, against 13.5% of PASOK, which remains “trapped” in the low-flyers, being 15.5 points behind. SYRIZA has “slumped” to 6th place, while the Voice of Reason and MeRA25 “enter” the Parliament.
Accuracy… a “thorn” for 84% of Greeks
The accuracy and in general the cost of living in relation to the income, is the big problem of the citizens in Greece, as reflected in the latest Pulse poll.
84% of respondents state accuracy as their biggest or biggest problem, sending a clear message to the government about where to focus its policies.
Divided for the Unknown Soldier
With regard to the issue that prevailed in the last 24 hours in the political – and not only – current affairs, the government’s amendment for the Monument to the Unknown Soldier, the responses of the citizens were almost divided.
More specifically, 46% said they agree or rather agree with the government’s actions, while 44% said they disagree or rather disagree.
Greek-Turkish and casus belli
60% of the respondents consider the government’s tactics, with the conditions for the removal of the casus belli, to be sufficient, in the face of the possibility of Turkey’s inclusion in the European SAFE defense program.
The Tsipras and Samara “parties”.
Almost 1.5 years before the elections, since the government has exhausted its second four-year term, the political scene in Greece seems quite fluid. The inability of the fragmented centre-left to present a competitive rival to the New Democracy has resulted in a prolonged period of “fermentation”, with the former prime minister, Alexis Tsipras, appearing one step before the creation of a party or an institution that will decisively reshape the balance.
The political scene is expected to influence a possible move by Antonis Samaras. The approval ratings may not be high, but it will “cut” votes from the New Democracy, making it even more difficult for the ruling party to regain self-reliance.
