NBA House becomes basketball amusement park with championship finals broadcast

With the NBA finals approaching, American basketball will once again have a home of its own in São Paulo. NBA House 2022 will be set up in the parking lot of the Eldorado mall, in the west region, and will open its doors in the first game of the decision – this Thursday, the 2nd, when the first confrontation between Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors is scheduled.

The nearly 4,000 m² environment will showcase all the decisive games. Therefore, the event was divided between “Game Nights”, which are the days of the finals and have more expensive tickets, and “Fan Days”, dates without departures and with parallel programming.

In addition to the broadcasts, the venue celebrates the 75th anniversary of the American League, with tribute to players who have marked the NBA, such as Michael Jordan, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Kobe Bryant and Bill Russell.

In one of the areas, you can still take pictures as if you were next to some of these NBA idols. It is also at this point that a replica of the Larry O’Brien trophy, the golden statuette given to the winning team of the league, is on display. For those who want to take collectibles and team clothes, the space also has an NBA Store.

Another object presented to basketball fans is the Diamond Ball. As the name says, the sphere is studded with the gemstone. In the Celebration Gallery, there is an exhibition of items such as the jackets of Jeff Hamilton, the Moroccan designer who dressed basketball legends, as well as sneakers created in collaboration with players, commemorative balls, famous uniforms, among others.

As for gamers on duty, the commemorative edition of the game “NBA2K 75th Edition” will be available for anyone who wants to venture into a virtual basketball game. For those who prefer to hit a real ball, there is even a court.

On NBA Finals days, tickets cost R$135. On other days, tickets cost R$45.
