Gareth Bale confirmed his departure from the Spanish capital Real Madrid nine years later and thanked the club’s supporters, despite the often strained relationship.

The Welshman moved from Tottenham Hotspur to the Bernabéu in 2013, winning three times in LaLiga and five times in the Champions League. The last match is this year’s final, when Liverpool lost 1-0.

Bailey has faced a lot of criticism from royal fans in recent years, including bobokers and pranks.

The injury limited his playing time, but some supporters believed that playing for Wales was a priority for his club and he spent a lot of time on the golf course.

The 32-year-old played just five times in LaLiga last season and only two secondary games in the Champions League championship campaign, and is actually more at Wales than Real.

It was never speculated that either party would like to extend the contract that expires at the end of the month, and Vail has now confirmed his departure, but he looks back on his time with love and pride.

In a statement on Wednesday, he wrote:

“I arrived here nine years ago as a young man who wanted to make my dream come true, to play for Real Madrid.

Dressed in white, with a shield on his chest, he played at the Santiago Bernabéu, won the title and won the Champions League.

“Now, I look back, I think, and to be honest, this dream has come true and much more has happened.

“It is part of the history of the club and we have achieved what we achieved when we were players at Real Madrid. It is a great experience that we will never forget.

I would also like to thank the president Florentino Pérez, José Ángel Sánchez and the management for allowing me to play for this club.

Together we were able to create a moment of life forever in the history of this club and football. It was an honor. Thank you very much! Will do Madrid! ‘

There is speculation that Veil could retire when his contract with Real expires, but he could continue to play until at least the World Cup in Qatar later this year and join champion club Cardiff City.
