Greek-German “battles” at the Beach Handball World Cup

The 3rd day of the World Beach Handball Championship “Heraklion 2022” started at Karteros Beach Sports Center.

Great games will be held today for the National Youth and the National Youth, which qualified for the 12th round of the tournament. Today they will give from two matches and tomorrow they will play from a match aiming to qualify for the quarterfinals.

Initially, the Greek teams will play against Germany at 12:00 (teenagers) and 12:50 (girls) at the main stadium.

The German Youth National Team had the absolute (3/3) with 6-0 sets against Argentina, Ukraine and Uruguay in the 4th group, while the Junior National Team of the “Punchers” took the 2nd place in the 3rd group behind Argentina and ahead of France and Romania.

In the afternoon, the National Youth Team will play against Ukraine (18:30, main stadium), while in the last game of the day, the National Youth Team will face Argentina (21:00).

Ukraine defeated only Uruguay in Group D, while Argentina in the juniors had the absolute with 3/3, winning all matches in the shootouts.
