Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz Jr. scored his first F1 win at the dramatic British Grand Prix.

The race was marred by a series of major car accidents shortly after the start, when Zhou Guanyu’s Alfa Romeo flipped over and jumped the fence at Abi Corner.

As soon as the Chinese driver was taken to the medical center on a stretcher, a red flag went off and the FIA confirmed that he was safely discharged.

Nearly an hour before the start of the race, at the start of the race, polesitter Carlos Sainz Jr. came under pressure from Max Verstappen and eventually escaped, allowing Red Bull to take the lead.

A few laps later, however, Verstappen damaged the floor, severely slowing the pace and returning the race to Sainz Jr. and Ferrari teammate Charles Leclerc.

The action was not yet over, however, as Home’s favorite Sir Lewis Hamilton filled the gap with the favorite and Ferrari was forced to change drivers to keep the Mercedes man in check.

However, with 12 laps to go, Esteban Ocon’s Alpine lost power and he stopped on track to bring out the safety car.

At the restart, Sainz Jr. led with new tires, Hamilton had the second most attractive duel with Leclerc and Sergio Pérez’s other Red Bull, and finally the Mexicans won, leaving Hamilton third in a paddy field.

Sainz Jr. took his first victory at the start of the 150th race, and the Spaniards were naturally pleased at the checkered flag.

“My first race win after 150 races at Ferrari and Silverstone. Thank you.

-I heard that Lewis is on board, but I managed to control myself. It was not easy. I had a hard time balancing the first stent.

“Suddenly we allowed the safety car to tackle us, and we did.”

The result was not much different, with Verstappen leading with 181 points, Perez second with 147 points and Leclerc third with 138 points.

Looking at the constructor table, Red Bull is at 328, Ferrari at 265 and Mercedes at 204.
