Feyenoord defender Tyrell Malacia became Erik Ten Hag’s first signing from Manchester United, with the Dutch receiving medical attention in the North West today.

Last week, United hijacked a deal with a Lyon defender, informing the League 1 giant that Malaysia wants to move to Old Trafford.

However, the dispute between Malachi and his manager threatened to stop the move to the Dream Theater, an issue that is now being resolved.

Red Devil’s continue to battle to sign this summer, with John Marteau spending most of his time negotiating with Frenkie de Jong.

The defender will compete with Luke Shaw for the starting left-back spot, with Alex Telles leaving.

Ten Hag is also willing to listen to offers from Eric Bailly, Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones.

United want to close the deal between De John and Christian Eriksen, and the move to Malaysia could be announced on Monday.
