Is this the official end of your career?
“The official end of my career has come. Here is a tournament which has a different aura, a different point of view. People love it a lot, the local community is helped a lot. We’ve said it before, it has quite a few benefits, so it’s a nice two days».
How do you feel that for you there are also players, your friends, who “come back” to active action for a while like Diamantidis?
“I thank them very much, what I do is beautiful, I thank them from the bottom of my heart, because everyone knows that in the summer, having obligations and leaving them to come to Syros means that something good happens and something beautiful is in Syros and the benefits of this tournament. Right now two kindergartens will be modernized, a CAPI will be built, a big donation will be made to the Syros hospital, and other small things for the local community».
