The EEC Communication:

The future of Greek basketball, but also of an important part of society itself, passes through the floors. A new program that sheds light on the next generation will make its appearance through the eight presumably (based on the results of the last five years) best teams in the developmental ladders. The Rising Stars U18 Tournament aims to produce capable athletes, but also capable citizens with parallel actions.

The rationale behind this initiative is that in order to develop a talented player, he needs matches with a high level of competition, in which he must always surpass himself, having equal opponents against him. This tournament will expand the horizons of young athletes, beyond the final phases of the Panhellenic Championships. At the same time, it is a move that will give more numbers to a generation of players who were deprived of basketball due to the pandemic that the planet is experiencing.

Parallel activities will enable children to get to know each other better through social activities and promotional movements, while they will meet people who have made history in basketball, because they should know, honor and respect the past.
