His acquisition Nemanja Zivkovic announced its handball department AEK. He is a 27-year-old right winger, who is international with the Serbian national team.

“AEK is pleased to announce the start of its partnership with Nemanja Zivkovic. The 27-year-old (21/01/1995) Serbian international, 1.83 m tall, plays as a right winger and is part of the Club’s men’s handball team.
Nemanja Živkovic started his career with Partizan, in whose shirt he played from 2012 to 2018. Among other things, he won a silver medal in the Championship (2013), a Serbian Cup (2013), while competing in the season’s Challenge Cup 2016-17.
Zeleznicar Nis followed (2018-19), to return to Partizan in 2019. She then wore the shirt of Slovenia’s Sloven Gradec, to wear the shirt of Partizan again last season, finishing 2nd in the Championship and scoring 17 goals for his side in the EHF European Cup. He also played against the Serbian Men’s National Team in the EURO 2020 qualifiers.
After the agreement was made official, Nemanja Zivkovic told aek.gr: “The truth is that when I accepted the offer from AEK, I didn’t think much of it. I am happy to be a part of such a big family. It is a step for my career and I am ready for new challenges. When I came on vacation to Greece a few years ago, I had great memories. I like it as a country, while we match as peoples, Greeks and Serbs. As for my adaptation, I think I won’t have a problem in Athens, since I’m from Belgrade, an equally big city. My personal goal, and I’m sure my team-mates’ too, is to get as many wins as possible to win the trophies. I hope to adapt immediately to the “want” of the coach and to have a large participation in a team that will win titles. AEK is a huge team, with a great history and awesome fans. Something that is very important to me. I will give all my energy for these wonderful fans. Let’s go AEK!”
