Champion of the Copa Libertadores last Saturday (27), Palmeiras returns to the field to fulfill the schedule in the Brazilian Championship. The team is already guaranteed a place in the 2022 edition of the South American tournament.
The alviverde team will face Cuiabá, at 10 pm this Tuesday (30), away from home, in a game valid for the 36th round of the Nacional. The match will be broadcast only via pay-per-view, on the Premiere channel.
Currently in third place in the standings, the team alviverde has no more chances for the title, as they are 19 points behind the leader, Atlético-MG.
They can look for the vice-leadership, but they need to take an 8-point advantage over Flamengo, who have a game less –9 points to play.
After Cuiabá, the alviverde team will face Athletico-PR, on the night of the 6th, still away from home. The champion of Libertadores says goodbye to his fans this year only on the 9th, against Ceará, in the last round of the Brazilian Nationals, at Allianz Parque.
