Thomas Tuchel was forced to reshape his defenses at Stamford Bridge after Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen decided to join Real Madrid and Barcelona, respectively.

Sevilla want Koundé to be €60m (£51m) and personally want Barcelona to start a bidding war with Chelsea. On the other hand, Xavi, the boss of Know Camp, is a famous fan.
However, Chelsea seem to be leading the race and Koundé is relishing the opportunity to team up with Koulibaly in West London.
Coulibaly has established himself as one of Italy’s best defenders over the past decade, and CBS says Kund is eager to learn from him.
New Chelsea owner Boli signed for his first club since taking charge of English striker Raheem Sterling’s club, with Koulibaly arriving shortly after.
“I am very happy that he has signed and joined our team,” Chelsea manager Tuchel said this week of Koulibaly.
It is the second signing of this summer and once again we have a strong player, with a strong personality and a lot of experience. From our point of view, he is a great addition to the group.
When asked if he hoped to go further this summer, Tuchel added:
“Everyone wants to put together a full team before the season, but that rarely happens. We are working on it as soon as possible, but at the same time we are relaxing.”
“We also focus on the players here because we know what we have to offer and it’s usually the most important thing.”
Chelsea finished third in the Premier League last season and launched the 2022-23 campaign with Everton on August 6.
