Sadio Mané was named African Player of the Year in 2022, ahead of former Liverpool teammates Mohamed Salah and Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Osohl.
The Senegalese striker was named the African Football Confederation of the Year in Rabat on Thursday night. Mane won the award for the second time.
Mane has joined Sarah, El Hadji Diouf, Samuel Eto’o and Yaya Toure, and only four players have won the gong in a row.
