Not much time has passed since Mr Lorenzo Insigne left the Naples to compete in her jersey Toronto.
The Italian striker shared his impressions of the MLS and revealed that he misses everything about his former team.
“I’m doing fine in Toronto and I’m starting to learn the language. It is more correct that way, to understand the world, my teammates and my coach.
I miss everything from Napoli and as soon as possible I will go back to find my friends and relatives”, he initially said and continued:
“I was surprised with MLS, because it has very good facilities, new pitches and very nice stadiums.
Physically it’s very demanding because you run so much. It’s a good league and I hope it grows more and more to approach the prestige of the European leagues.”
He commented on the Italian championship:
“I can’t wait for it to start so I can watch Napoli because I’m a big fan and I’ve arranged everything to watch the games.
And as I wished to my teammates, whom I spoke to from time to time through calls and messages, I hope they win the title and I would be very happy if they do. Honestly, looking at the transfer market of all the teams, I hope it will be a great season. I can’t wait for it to start so I can enjoy Serie A from afar and watch some great football.”
