The trio of captains of our National team for the upcoming Eurobasket was announced by EEC.
Kostas Papanikolaou, Nick Kalathis and Kostas Slukas were named by Dimitris Itoudis as the three captains of the “official favourite”, with the Olympiakos forward appearing on the match sheet.

Nick Kalathis has 125 appearances for the Men’s National Teammaking his debut in 2009 when he was a member of the team that won the bronze medal at EuroBasket in Poland.
Kostas Papanikolaou he has 121 appearances for the Men’s National Team, having also made his debut in 2009, but was not then included in the team’s squad for Poland.
Kostas Sloukas has 107 appearances for the Men’s National Team, having made his debut in 2011 when he participated in the Lithuanian Eurobasket team”.
