Palmeiras beats Corinthians in Itaquera and isolates itself even more at the tip of the Brazilian

Palmeiras won the derby against Corinthians 1-0, this Saturday (13), at Neo Química Arena, with Roni’s own goal, after an error in the departure of the ball by the alvinegro team.

The defeat stretches the rope of the alvinegro team, which, although it is among the top four in the championship, comes from elimination in Libertadores to Flamengo and sees its fans getting impatient with the team’s performances – even though it proposed the game, taking more danger to the rival and made a fierce match this Saturday.

In addition, the Parque São Jorge team lost Willian, a key part of the squad that terminated his contract after injuries and threats suffered by him, and still has to reverse the 2-0 score of the first leg against Atlético-GO, in next Wednesday (17), to stay alive in the Copa do Brasil.
