São Paulo says goodbye to the fans to forget about relegation once and for all

On Monday (6), São Paulo will have the third straight duel against opponents who are also fighting relegation in the Brazilian Championship.

At the Morumbi stadium, the tricolor team welcomes Juventude, at 19:00. The match will be broadcast by Premiere.

Before welcoming the Gauchos, São Paulo beat Sport, at home, by 2-0, and then suffered a tough defeat by Grêmio, by 3-0, away from home.

Now, if they win this Monday’s game, Rogério Ceni’s team will rule out the chances of relegation once and for all and can finally start planning their year of 2022 after a frustrating campaign at the Brazilian Nationals.

São Paulo could have confirmed their stay in the first division if they had won Grêmio.

But the setback, with an elastic score and a conceded goal from the midfield, ended up generating several criticisms from the fans to the squad and mainly to Ceni.

Santos still looking for Liberators
