Frank Warren has stated that an official offer will be sent today for Anthony Joshua to fight Tyson Fury this winter.

Fury is determined to fight through the end of the year, but will have to wait until 2023 for a unification fight with IBF, WBO and WBA champion Alexander Usyk.

This week, the “Gypsy King” offered Joshua a challenge for the WBC heavyweight title at the year-end Battle of Britain. Joshua claimed to be ready.

Joshua’s promoter, Eddie Hahn, revealed Tuesday morning that he had spoken to Frank Warren’s son, George, and remains skeptical, but insisted they are “100% sitting down and fighting.”

Fury’s promoter Warren has confirmed that the offer will go to Joshua’s team.

“I will send them a written offer today,” Warren told talkSPORT.

“Our focus is to give AJ the perfect opportunity to come back to the top level against world champion Tyson.

“He’s willing to fight back, so I’m sending you an offer today. After that, you’ll have to look at it and decide whether to take it with both hands.” I’ll look into it in November if possible.

Warren declined to discuss the terms of the deal, but said the offer was “very fair.”

“Tyson has been very fair and if this goes public, if they want to go public, everyone will be shocked.

Hahn told Metro.co.uk last week that Joshua’s return to the ring is scheduled for December. But Warren suggests the former world champion will find himself in a position where he won’t be able to turn down a world title offer.

“But to his credit, he came out and said he was ready. .
