The mission for the World Rowing Championships

The World Rowing Championships in the Czech Republic, the sport’s last major event of 2023, will see Tokyo ‘gold’ medalist and European ‘silver’ champion Stefanos Duskos competing in the heavy sculls, European ‘gold’ champion in weightlifting skiff, Antonis Papakonstantinou, the “silver” European champion in the same event, Zoe Fitsiou, as well as Milena Kontou (“gold” in the European K23) and Evangelia Anastasiadou (“gold” in the World K23, “silver” in the Women’s European and “silver” in the European U23).

In detail, the Greek participations:

Skiff (a): Stefanos Duskos

Weightlifting skiff (a): Antonis Papakonstantinou

Weightlifting skiff (c): Zoe Fitsiu

Double sculls (c): Milena Kontou-Evangelia Anastasiadou

Double skiff (a): Giannis Kalandaridis-Thanasis Palaiopanos

Double skiff (c): Evangelia Fragou-Stella Natsiula

The athletes are accompanied by the technical advisor, Gianni Postilione, the federation members, D. Petrou, G. Tsalouhos, N. Matsioulis, the physical therapist, Ioanna Fouka, and the doctor of the EKOFNS, Yiannis Christogiannis. The head of the mission will be the president of the Federation, Yannis Vrambas.
