In a real derby with many swings, PAOK defeated Panathinaikos 9-8 with an upset and took their first victory in this year’s SEDY men’s polo tournament.
The first part is “closed” in progress, with the “greens” leading 3-2. The “Two-Headed” showed an excellent face in the attack in the third eight minutes and reached the upset. Milardovic equalized 3-3 and Koopman made it 4-3. Panathinaikos answered for 4-5, but PAOK made it 6-5 with Charalambopoulos and Kalargyros.
In the fourth eight minutes, Panathinaikos entered better and with a 0-2 run made the upset, 6-7, however PAOK tied with Koopman at 7-7. In the last two minutes, Panathinaikos initially made it 7-8, PAOK equalized with Milardovic at 8-8, 22” before the end, they took out the defense and Kalargyros shaped the final result.
