The curriculum vitae

Milan Tomic was born on July 24, 1973 in Belgrade. He spent most of his career in Greece, both as a basketball player and as a basketball coach, while in 1992 he acquired Greek citizenship.

Milan Tomic signed his first professional contract in Radnicki, where he played for just one year.

In 1991, he traveled to Greece on behalf of Olympiacos. In the team of Piraeus, he played for thirteen whole years, winning many titles inside and outside the country. Specifically, he won five Greek Championships, three Greek Cups and a Champions Cup.

After the end of the 2005-06 season, Milan Tomic decided to retire from active action and end his long career.

He took over the position of coach for the first time in 2004 at Olympiakos. In the period from 2008 until July 2018, he was a member of the technical staff of the “red and whites”. On July 13, 2018, he took over the reins of the Red Star, from where he left on October 22, 2019, having won the championship in the Adriatic League (2019).
