The Greek team for the World Gymnastics Championships

Eight triathletes will make up the Greek delegation that will participate in the World Gymnastics Championships that will be held in Liverpool, 29/10-6/11. The expedition left on Wednesday for the English port without the injured Lefteris Petrounias.

Competing in the event will be Apostolos Kanellos (complex individual: floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, doubles, singles), Nikos Iliopoulos (doubles, singles), Konstantinos Konstantinidis (rings), Stavros Ginis (rings), Stefanos Tsolakidis (doubles) in men.

Also, Elvira Katsali (individual complex: vault, uneven bars, balance beam, floor), Areti Pagoni (asymmetric bars, balance beam, floor) and Konstantina Maragou (asymmetric bars) in the women.

With them will be the federal coaches, Dimitris Raftis, Theofilos Lalechos, Vassilis Tsolakidis, Kostas Hatzizisis, and the international judges Stavros Galeros, Fotini Mellou and Nikos Provias, who has been invited by the FIG.

The “ticket” for the World Cup has also been secured by Antonis Tantalidis in floor exercises, but he was not included in the final list due to injury.
