Greek Boxers continue their obligations in international competitions in an impressive way. During the two days we spent in the city of Kikinda, Serbia, an international tournament called “Zlatna Rukavica” was held and Greece starred once again.
The Greek record was full of medals, as our athletes won a total of seven gold, two silver and one bronze medal, continuing the impressive performances that our champions have made recently.
Costas Sargiannidis, Giorgos Pleas, Giorgos Konstantinoudis, Zacharia Lagoudi, Lamprini Giannakopoulou, Maria Georgopoulou and Ioanna Kantzari climbed to the top of the podium. The silver medal was won by: Antonis Velis, Remos, Efthymiadis and the bronze by Merieva Dasionaki.
The mission was accompanied by coaches Andreas Giannakopoulos and Nikos Pleas.
The successes of the Greek champions fully justify the development program of the Federation, the work of the club coaches, as well as the choices of the federal coaches, both for the way of preparation and for the choices of the athletes who will compete abroad.
